The best croutons!
I love Marie Callender's "Cheese & Garlic" Croutons! For some reason all of the local grocery stores in my neighborhood stopped selling this product which forced me to try many other brands & none of them came close to the taste of Marie Callender's. If you love garlic - you'll love this product. I'm just glad they come in a pack of 12 because I can eat almost half of a bag on one salad! Thank you Amazon!

Simply WonderfulEverything a crouton should be: crunchy flavorful and surprisingly low-cal. Good enough to eat right out of the bag but of course will enhance just about every salad they grace. The garlic flavor is present but not overpowering. I've tried many croutons over the years however MC is simply the best.

Something different...
These are not the typical Caesar salad croutons but nevertheless still very tasty.
The ingredients:
- Not overly salted so the herbs really contribute to the flavor.
- The amount of garlic is OK so your loved ones do not have to eat these croutons along with you to bear your presence :-)
- No dubious "natural" flavors were used.
- The package states "Product of Israel" so the herbs really seem to come from a Mediterranean climate.
- The size of the croutons is on the smaller side so they can readily absorb the dressing. Very important for me since I am usually a little bit in a hurry when I prepare my meals.
On the obvious downside is the long transportation distance from the manufacturer to the US which is usually a bit disturbing for consumers of organic products. I also couldn't find a "Best before..." info on the package.
Overall still a nice crouton variety.

Great taste. I eat them out of the bag as a snack. Perhaps a little salty for my taste but not by much....hence the 4 stars. I particularly like the idea of them being fat free. Will order again !
